  1. my wife recently opened a checking account with Wells Fargo and I went to her new branch to deposit her two checks. With her ID card, Bank Card and checks in hand I pulled into the drive thru and waited and waited and waited only to get to the window to told that “MY Wife has to be in the to make this deposit”????? are you kidding?
    Its maybe a good thing she has not yet transfered her Mortgage, Winco Retirement and her $2,200,000.00 of WiNcoStock!

    • You and your wife are definitely better off if you go elsewhere. After thinking it over, I will never do business with WF and I can earn more money on my investments elsewhere like Goldman Sachs or Citibank

  2. I have an auto loan with Wells Fargo and there is NOTHING that has been right with this! They are charging $2.65 in daily interest, and thousands of $ in late fees, they’ve made a lot of money! I called in about 10 times and asked to speak to someone about this, I was on hold for an hour. Additionally, it took an act of God to get the accounting of my auto loan and I was so appalled at what I found. I guess it’s a way to scam and cheat people. So thanks Wells Fargo! As I’m writing this I’m still on hold! Horrible jazz you have playing!

  3. Every time I think of using Wells Fargo I read stories like this. Every time I think about purchasing Wells Fargo stock I hear a news story like I heard to day about h Fargo pausing funds to police foundations because they black Marxists told them to. I have no intention of giving ANY of my money to an organization that has its morals in the garbage can and takes orders from terrorist groups. The funny thing though is seems like every time people think again about WF they just break their necks toostering terrorists while prove that you are not right and that they have absolutely nothing to do with customer service and everything to do with fostering terrorists and making the CEO rich. Let Wells Fargo go to the dung heap where it belongs and for the people who wrote here you are better off NEVER, EVER doing business with WF again. You are a fool if you do.

  4. Mr. Scharf does not need to apologize for his remark re: Lack of Diversity due to unskilled talent. Having gone to a college in Louisiana, I can attest that your remark is on the money, so to speak. I thought we had a fair system that graded and evaluated us according to our efforts. When we had and overturn in the Student Government president, our hard work toward making, and maintaining, Honor Roll and Dean’s List acknowledgments were thrown out with the Gold Standard of Academic Excellence. Other than an actual hand slap to the face, that was exactly how many of us felt. The bar of Excellence was lowered. That was in 1983. It has not gotten much better, if anything, it is worse. Why should you NOT tell the truth because some have actually experienced the bar lowered and, in turn, lowered morale to try hard and succeed when we saw others being “handed” what we toiled and worked so hard to achieve ? I am a customer of Wells Fargo, actually when Wachovia was taken over, and by the “KISS” method, have had a successful relationship with your financial institution.
    If anyone does not understand the “KISS” method, it is easy- Keep It Simple, Stupid.
    It is a reliable method.
    I had to reply to the “Winners And Losers” column in this mornings NY Post and why Mr. Scharf had to apologize for exercising his right to free speech. Maybe it was not in the proper setting to make such a remark but he is absolutely correct in his statement about the dearth of talent in diversity. There were not any Pakistanis, Lebanonese, and many other foreign ethnicities that had to take Remedial Math, English AND Spelling in the college I attended and graduated. That is all I wish to convey to Mr. Scharf. If no one else agrees, that is your perogative. If I spelled perogative incorrectly it is because my dictionary no longer recognizes it as a word, and “Spell Check” is only as good as the person who wrote the computer code. Most of us are caught between Damned if we do, Damned if we don’t. You cannot please everyone and when you do…you will definitely be taken advantage of and used as a pandering puppet.
    Thank you for your time and consideration. Mind you, this is just an opinion with a peppering of life experience from a loyal customer.

  5. WF transferred $30,000 from my savings to checking for a scam artist. I had no idea it was my money he had transferred as WF didn’t ask for any authorization. Consequently, I was taken in by the fraud and lost my money. WF refuses to take any responsibility for this action. I was advised years ago to get out of WF. Sure wish I had. Guess I couldn’t believe a bank could be as bad as Wells Fargo has proven to be..

    • I had the same situation happen to me. I was a victim of fraud as well and WF refused to take any responsibility. Even after filing a complaint. They are terrible!

  6. I had a two month forbearance and I have $733 in interest that needs to be paid, I thought it was going to go on the back end of the loan and I can catch up on it. No they added a 2nd mortgage on my loan without my permission or without notification, I am able to refinance my loan with another bank and my interest rate will be 2.5 instead of 4.25 with Wells Fargo. I called and attempted to pay this balance and now I am told I need to seek an approval. WTH, if I am not approved, I cannot refinance with American First. This should be discussed with the customers. Most people thought Wells Fargo was going to help their customers not hurt them during COVID pandemic. Customers also found out Wells Fargo hurt their FICO score. They are the worse and I see why their stock is one of the worse out of all the other financials institutions. Ticker symbol WF and it almost sits at its 52 week-low. I am going to move my mortgage and my son’s student loan the first chance I get. You will not get anymore of my $$$$

My Granddaughters Stimulus check was deposited to her deceased husband;s account because she was not on the account and he did not stipulate a beneficiary,,,her check which is in her name (which is not on the account) for her and her children is tied up in his account. Wells Fargo says NOT their problem and she cannot have the money. The $1800.00 is not much but with 2 children under the age of 5 and a widow at the age of 26 is traumatic enough without a big Corporate Bank adding to it. Cost more to hire an attorney than she would get…..

  8. I see so many negative comments about Wells Fargo and even I haven’t experienced what everyone else has I agree this is one of the worst banks I ever dealt with. How do you they work for us the people who put money in rotation for their company and make so many errors. I had an issue with a bank levy which placed a hold on my account a nd took funds which is not there fault however how they handled this was terrible. They then was ordered to release a $1000 to me for emergency funds and remainder to company who placed levy. Apparently they sent the company the 1000 and released remainder to me and 30 days later take funds out of my account which is has a zero balance intentionally which now leaves my account in the negative. I am completely unaware of anything so called for assistance and get attitudes and disrespect from staff on the phone a supervisor who knows nothing and unable to assist just continued to say how upset she would be if this were her however there is nothing she can do. We need to do something about this ya’ll. If you want to have them hear our complaints we must come together and do it ao they can notice that it’s too many people having issues with their company.
