  4. I just read an article of about a female employee who was fired from her job at the York, PA branch for defending herself from a violent encounter. The employee’s name, Elena Santiago. While I realize I may not have the full picture of what transpired, I do feel this yet another example of the bully getting away with mistreating someone and management punishing the victim. I get your policy of “no weapons” and it should be honored. But what about the young man who used force and a magazine rack to exert his power and anger over a woman who was clearly trying to do her job and protect others by enforcing mask-wearing policies ? Did you even see why she carries these weapons ? How she walks to work at dawn and leaves her shift sometimes when it’s dark outside ? Did you even pay attention to the fact that this particular store has had previous troubles with kids and adults trashing the store and stealing ? Did you even approach the district manager who refused her request for security guard knowing other stores post them at locations with a history of problems ? Again, I really do get the need to enforce a “no weapons” policy. I also get that this woman has been left high and dry by a corporation whose reputation has been to “protect and provide for the health and welfare of others”. I may have shopped occasionally at your stores before, but after this, my business is best given elsewhere.

  6. Me and my family signed up and did the COVID-19 testing on State street in saginaw. What a crock of poo. So disappointed in the entire process and people involved. Site said 3-5 days for results, we got them back in 6, Christmas day. On line video does not comply with actual testing done on site.

  7. I am a legal assistant at the law offices of Jones Gregg in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have Medical Authorizations to fax to Rite Aid for one of our clients. What fax number do I use? Also, if our client used three separate Rite Aid locations to fill prescriptions, (1) West Mifflin, PA, (2) Slippery Rock, PA and (3) Clairton Boulevard in Pittsburgh, PA, will one Medical Authorization faxed to corporate give me all of these records or do I have to fax three separate Medical Authorizations?

  8. I witnessed such a wonderful event, here in Ashland, Ohio’a Rite Aid store! I am a new employee of the store and enjoy the family atmosphere, and the professionalism. The pharmacist has worked in your store for 35 years. A wonderful celebration for him happened today, with the mayor, police and fire department, waving goodbye, displaying their appreciation and affection for their neighborhood, family pharmacist. A wonderful celebration for this person exiting his workplace for the very last time.
I asked if their was a person from the corporation attending and wishing him the best in enjoying his retirement. There was absolutely not one person!! I cannot believe this is how you treat your employees!! There is no excuse for not recognizing people working for you!! Very unacceptable! I will leave my name and if you wish to contact me, you are more than welcome to do so. Better yet, why don’t you send someone to wish him goodbye! Oh, I forgot, he will not be here anymore, creating his customers, asking how they are and their families..
The problems with corporations, like you, forget about those who are dedicated to you, working and representing You in the most highly, respectable manner.. May you, in the future, send a representative in thanking those who are dedicated to your organization.

    Thank you
    Debra Akers

  9. I have gone to my Doctor who has a real Doctorate in medical practice! So when IAm given a prescription IAm expected to take It dutifully to the Pharmacy so I
drove the nearly hour it took to go to my local Rite aid to fill my prescription! Well, I had waited patently for 5 minutes! Mr Pharmacict tells me sorry but we don’t have time to take you prescription today! I’m heading to lunch in Half an hour you’ll have to come back later! I just drove to my doctors 3 hours away and now have a lagitament prescription to be filled! But no IAm treated like I’m waistling his time! I live in a mountainess area and going to the super market is a dangerous drive as the hills and the crazy people driving drunk on our two lane roads can be dangerous if not deadly! If your store is so understaffed you have a big problem! IAm not their to waist anyone’s time! Especially my own! Mono road, Sonora ,California 95370 IAm appalled by this treatment! I can’t just drive back over I live 40 miles away! Today is Sunday January 10 I was in the store about 145 p m this man needs a reprimand and and extra employee if he feels so stressed he can’t take my legal prescription! Thank you I have vented and yes I am livid!

  10. My local Rite Aid (01868) refuses to comply with scheduling for the covid 19 vaccine until they actually receive their shipment. This will encourage a stampede on arrival grossly impeding the smooth distribution of the vaccine. Instead of quickly vaccinating people, they will be furiously trying to schedule them. I suggest they start a sign-up sheet of applicants now with numbers of elderly eligibles in order of contact. Then they can be called back and scheduled to receive the vaccine on a first come, first served list of elderly eligibles. Right now my Rite Aide states an unawareness of NY state regulations, stating all scheduling is done online. Not so. A recipe for confusion and disaster.

  11. I live in Brooklyn NY and have signed up for the COVID vaccine shot for January 23. The second shot should be given on or about February 20. Rite Aid requires that the appointment for the second shot be made online. Here in Brooklyn you cannot get into the website to make that appointment. Most other places give the appointment at the time the first shot is given. The stores have no information as to whether the shot will be given on the appropriate date. If the shot is not given at the proper time then the first shot is useless and would have to be retaken. My questions are:
    Can this policy be changed?
Can I take the second shot at any location other than the original location?
    Is there another solution?

  12. Taking my business elsewhere. I take a prescription daily and your store said they could not fill it because my insurance needed prior authorization. I asked to pay out of pocket and was told no yesterday. Called back today and was told they could fill it no problem if I paid out of pocket. I have had continual issues with this prescription not getting filled and having to miss days because of Rite Aid

  15. I wanted to compliment an employee of your in the Dubois PA Rite Aid Pharmacy.
Her first name is Cindy and she was so kind and helpful that I decided to write Corporate and let them know.

For three weeks I have been trying to get a Covid shot without success. I am 81 and a caregiver for my wife who has cancer. I have waited in lines hoping that there might be a few shots left over, but to no avail. Today I tried Rite Aid in Dubois, after checking Rite Aids within a 50 mile radius. Finally I tried Dubois and Cindy asked me if she could help me in anyway. I explained my situation and she stated there were a few extra shots available today and if I would be kind enough to hold on, she would check with the pharmacist for approval. Cindy got back on the phone and apologized for the delay and advised that the distribution center was open until 5pm today. I told her that I lived a couple of hours away but I would do my very best to be there. Cindy said to be careful driving and she hopes that I arrive on time.
I made it to Dubois with 15 minutes to spare and there stood Cindy smiling and she assisted me in filling out the paperwork and I got my shot moments later with a date for my second shot in three weeks. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE. Thanks to Cindy.

  18. Yes my husband and I went to the doctor yesterday and he sent over our prescriptions to the rite aid on west high Ave New Philadelphia ohio I called 2 hrs after our prescriptions were sent and the doctor received his verification that they received our prescriptions and they used my husbands birth date to look them up and said it would be a couple of hours. I called back after 230 pm to check on the progress and they told me again that it would be a few hours this time that because of COVID shots they are 4days behind on prescriptions. So we are here the next day 26 hours after they received them. This time the didn’t have mine ready and are claiming they never received my husbands so after doing all I could to contact someone at the doctors office another prescription was called in and this time the pharmacist is claiming she misheard the directions so she couldn’t fill and I needed to have someone from the doctors office call them back to go over the directions. Now by this time my husband had been almost 48 hrs without his medication that is needed daily. This is the absolute worst professionalism and customer service I have ever dealt with and after today I will never shop at rite aid again!!! And I will pass my experience on to others. It’s absolutely ridiculous and awful that any pharmacy is 4days behind on medication refills and short staffed!!!
