  1. I was shopping at the Macy’s in the CherryVale Mall, Cherry Valley, IL on Thursday, September 3rd. As I walked into the store, I noticed most of the employees were either NOT wearing masks or were wearing them improperly. I went to the fragrance counter at the entrance to the mall. The older woman there was wearing her mask under her nose. I very casually explained to her that it wasn’t doing any good unless she covered her nose. She proceeded to tell me that there was no COVID, it was just the flu!!!! I walked away and was NOT going to buy anything from her or touch anything from her. As I proceeded towards the main exit to outside, I saw a tall blonde employee in the purse dept wearing her mask UNDER her chin. Her associate had her mask under her nose. The jewelry dept employee was properly wearing her mask. I left the store then. I was upset b/c I wanted to buy the new My Way fragrance and I wanted a new Michael Kors purse. I like to try fragrances and see the purse. Where we live, our COVID infections are rising and I was SHOCKED that your employees were not being proactive in preventing your shoppers from getting COVID. I will never enter that Macy’s again. I do not understand why your supervisory staff is not walking around the store making sure employees are wearing their masks. The store was NOT busy at all. I am a preferred customer and I didn’t feel very “cared about” actually being in the store. When businesses in our county are not judicious in mask wearing, our county health dept shuts the stores down. I suggest you take steps to educate your employees about mask wearing and ask your supervisors to be diligent making sure the employees WEAR their mask and do so properly.

  2. I just heard that you are closing the Marlow Heights,MD store. Is there any way you could keep it open. We seniors in this neighborhood need this store plus we LOVE this store.We have nothing else out here that can serve our needs.We’re too old to to shop internet and can’t do a lot of driving.Please rethink the situation!   3. I purchased 4 items online, I understand the items will be will be shipped separately. I had concerns because some of the items were ceramic, so I called to ask if I could pick up in store. The customer rep told me that option was not available. I received 1 of the items and it was broken. I called Macy’s to address this issue. The customer rep I spoke to told me there was no need to send it back, she would cancel the order and re order it with expedited shipping, which I would not have to pay for. She took my information, placed the order and told I would be receiving the item in 2-3 days, and I would get an email with the new order and tracking number. I checked my email a few hours later and there was no email. I called back and was told that the order was cancelled and not reordered. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who cut me off while i was speaking to her and put on the music. I waited for 15 mins and she never came back. I called back and was sent to another supervisor, who acted like there was on problem. She just your order was cancelled and the item is no longer available, and there is nothing she could do. I asked if she knew who took the call and could she find out from them why they told me that the item was ordered and would be arriving in 2-3 days. She came back and said the rep was on another call. This is unacceptable, Macy’s should have better service reps and supervisors who could address customers issues better. I truly believe i was not speaking to a supervisor, just another rep passing off as a supervisor. Shame on Macy’s.

  5. Absolutely the worst customer service ever. I have been dealing with Macys since early January on some furniture I purchased. Still haven’t received the furniture and keep being told the furniture will be in in two weeks. Every time I call back after two weeks I’m told a different story. And there’s a lot more regarding my order. It’s just been the biggest nightmare and nobody has been able to help me. DO NOT GO INTO YOUR LOCAL STORE AND ORDER FURNITURE.

  6. I was waited on by a nice gentleman named Anthony at the Macy’s in Overland Park Ks at the Oak Park Mall and I just want to say that he is EVERYTHING that a Lancome rep should be. He is so knowledgeable, friendly and honest! He helped me pick the right colors for my skin and had wonderful suggestions and soft selling approach. He should be recognized for being such a perfect employee. I wish I knew his last name but he is larger caucasion guy and just the sweetest thing to talk to. I hope this gets to his boss and he knows that someone will always be lifelong customer because of this great customer service.
