  1. General Motors, you are killing the making terrible changes to you cars. The corvette doesnt even have an actual steering “wheel” anymore, i wont even look at it, its not a dammed grand prix (f1) btw it never was and never will be. The camero no matter what it changes to will never look as nice as the 67-69 classic, i do not find it apealing. You, like many others are killing the car made for the real driver at heart aka the manual gearbox shifter and your new cars are whacky in design and full of nonsense computer crap that i know isnt nessisary to stay safe it only takes a good driver. We the people are diverse and need availble options for all i see nothing but cars and trucks made for the futuristic lazy idiot dricer in mind. You have recently canned the impala the nicest sedan you had to offer. My last chance of getting somthing that actually apealed to me died with the chevrolet s.s. I see no pationate driven future for the american auto industry whatsoever, its a dammed crying shame in my eyes and i hope that future tech such as touch screen and l.e.d headlamps does not become the standard to highend trim levels in time to come as they do not much but drive up the price of cars and a burden and safty hazzard to road safty and of course i myself do not apeal to such things as i have a big screen TV at home and dont need another one when i cruising enjoying the beautifil sceenery trying to reach for the dial that isnt on the dash board anymore.

    • Agree, They have ruined the Corvette with that JUNKY DCT Transmission! I was going to order a 2021 until researching it. Now I am looking for a C7 MANUAL 7 SPEED TRANNY…

  2. GM message of discrimination 7/7/2020 (approx)
    Account Number –

Date is an estimate (It is logged I am sure in your system)
Hello, after more than 30 years in the workplace and a 26 year career with the US Government (Retired) for the first time in my lifetime I was laid off from my Chief Operating Officer position due to COVID19 (company closed its doors and sold overseas). I have never expected or imagined this to ever happen to me (as no one does). I called GM to ask/beg for assistance and the very RUDE associate asked me a few questions like, are you working? I responded with the above and she said so you have no income? I responded, yes UNEMPLOYMENT but based off of my prior over $100,000, 6 figure income I am in absolute turmoil now with life in general, with that she responds, OH, $100,000? IF YOU HAVE NO INCOME I CANNOT HELP YOU, YOUR BEST OPTION IS TO VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER THE CAR! I was totally shocked by her response and attitude. I hate to think this way but what I am about to say is 100%, she heard I was a WHITE, MALE making over $100,000 and she had her response already made up the within the first minute of our conversation. This is absolute discrimination and with all going on around us how is this being permitted by companies such as GM who I have held to a much higher standard than this? I have never in my almost 50 years felt so demoralized for a situation I had no control over (being laid off due to COVID19). She offered no options or solutions besides JUST TURN THE CAR IN. That is the last thing I would want to do on top of all of my other issues impacting my family and I at this time of pandemic. This call was recorded I am certain so you can go back and listen (my wording above is not exact I am sure but very close to verbatim). I am willing to take this to a higher order to let the public know that GM states they are here to help during the trying times of COVID19 but that is not the case when their Customer Service Reps have made up their minds on the situation based on the customers Race, Color and Creed. I have worked extremely hard for everything we have and to have been treated like this when my anxiety is at an all time high is absolutely fortuitous in a time of need. I expect action to be taken immediately on this CS Representative and a resolve to my need at this time. Please contact me immediately.
    Mario A. DiPatrizio

  3. I ordered my 2020 Corvette convertible in November of 2019 the only reason why I did was because I was guaranteed the Corvette by late may early June because my lease on my car is up in August I know the Corvette plant closed for a while my production number is 1100 nobody at my dealership or anywhere else knows what the h*** is going on nobody can tell me anything I’m even hearing I could have to wait til the 2021s come out which is not acceptable my least will be up in August and I won’t have a car I am hearing that certain production numbers will have to wait til the 2021s which is really bullshit because you should honor everybody who has been waiting patiently and so long for their cars they should get their 2000 twenties before production on 2021s start… I have had corvettes in the past but this is ridiculous that you would do this to people who have ordered corvettes 8 months ago

    • well… I have ordered my truck in august 2019. Order # 2020 ******. As of November 2020 there is no assigned target production week. No additional information is available. This is not acceptable. We were loyal customers of GM for decades. Very disappointed.

    • Hi Charles, I was wondering if you have an update for your Corvette. We also ordered ours many moons ago. Though it made it to 4000 status, its just sitting in the plant. No one seems to be able to tell us anything. Its been more than 6 weeks since it has been built. Im so frustrated!!!!!!

  4. I understand it’s aimed at improving gas mileage, but the “auto stop/start” feature is perhaps one of the most annoying features to have ever been developed. What makes it worse is that not all vehicles come equipped with a disable button (my 2020 Traverse as such). GM, please push out a software update to allow your technicians to turn this function off if an owner so chooses. Thanks!

  5. After seeing your trucks at the white house with dictator Trump I will never buy another gm product. I do not and will not support the overthrow of the USA by Fascist pigs.

    • What an uninformed idiot you are! The liberals have been leaning to socialism in recent years and now progressive liberals actually brag how they will turn this great country into socialism. You may find a multitude of reasons to dislike Trump but you are dead wrong about any such agenda coming from him. My goodness man, do some research, read your history. Clearly you have no clear understanding of the meaning of fascism and easily being blindly led by other uninformed idiots. But then again, birds of a feather…………………….

      • Trump is court and self convicted fraud. Other than his Impeachment, on of his more recent convictions was the “Trump University” case that he wilfully and without threat, duress, or coercion plead guilty. Feel free to set an appointment with a court clerk for details of your fraudulent president’s public court conviction record.
If you would not wilfully hire a one-time court convicted business fraud for a common business manager position. Why then would you elect a multiple-time court convicted business fraud for president of political corporation?

  6. i have been a chevy man for at least 50 yrs, and looked with great expectations of purchasing the new blazer… man was i let down when i saw it,,, IT IS PURE UGLY. THE GUYS THAT DESIGNED IT SHOULD BE FIRED, INSTANTLY,

  7. I have a friend in Pakistan who wants to apply for a workers Visa to work anywhere in the United States. Do you hire immigrant workers and are you currently hiring? What are the requirements you need for employment and for which positions?

  8. This is Bonnie Frymier, I bought this Chevy Trax at Flatwoods West Virginia and took my car and showed them the paint is peeling off my hatch under the back glass. They were suppose to contacted you over 2 months ago. The Trax is a 2016. I think GM should pay for getting it painted. I don’t care how many miles it’s got on it it shouldn’t be peeling off. It’s bad business when people are seeing the paint coming off. I have had alot of other problems with this car. Would never buy another one. Hope I here from you.

  9. I wanted to Share my Story…I was taken my Mom around looking at new cars, she just retired and wanted something with a warranty. She really didn’t know what she wanted, etc, all she knew is she didn’t want a thousand phones a day. So on mission and remind you she was in no hurry but want to make the right choice because she wanted to last for a long time. We stopped in Pinkerton Chevrolet Buick GMC in Lynchburg where we met Jason Fisher. He answered questions and gave us his card and said call me with any questions, I’ll be glad to help. Along our mission we ran into all kinds of Salesman but my mom fall in Love with the Buick Encore. So this was our new mission to find the best deal so we start shopping for the best deal. My mother many years ago bought a car from Berglund in Roanoke so we went up there to see what they had to offer. I called a spoke to another young man name Jason he was a pleasure on the phone, however when we got there (over a hour drive) when was assigned to a salesman Jeff. He put us in his office and we waited. He was running the show! He kept trying to get info from us as if he already had the car sold. Finally when we made it to the lot they didn’t have what my mom wanted she want power seats and solid print seats. Jeff said what if we can get that for you at a lower price would you be interested, well yes! He had his manager (I assume)come out and stated this and that however the price kept going up. I told him we had to think about it and if we decide to buy from them we’ll be back, his words was NO YOU WON’T. Very rude I felt we was treated this way because we was two woman. So not to drag this story out much longer, I want GM to know how wonderful Pinkerton was they gave my respect and Jason went above and beyond to make my Mother happy. Berglund could learn a lot from Lyncburg. I personally wasn’t planning to get a new car yet, however was so awesome not only did my my buy a car, I did as well. So buy not being pushy and just be willing to answers a woman thousand questions he got two sales and a we got a friend for like.

  10. I purchased my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 in early 2017. I bought this truck because it has a tow package and I’m a boater. The truck has been a pleasure to own. It’s sharp looking and able to tow 12,000 lbs safely. My boat was about 5,000 and trailer maybe 1,000. I have been well within the safety limits. I recently decided to upgrade and get a bigger boat that weighs approx 1,200 lbs more than my previous one. My wife and I left Va 2:30 am the day after Christmas to pick up our new boat in Florida. As soon as we crossed the S Carolina border about 5:30 am, the transmission went out. This being the day after Christmas and a Saturday, things weren’t looking good. I was able to get the truck towed to King GMC in Florence SC for repairs. The problem I have is the truck has 81,000 miles on it because I drive minimum 60 miles a day to and from work. It’s highway and I firmly believe in cruise control. Turns out the transmission is trashed. I’ve taken my truck in religiously for scheduled maintenance to the dealer I bought it from. Why does a 2017 truck need a transmission after only 81,000 miles? so $5,000 later I have my truck back and we’re headed back to Virginia. It just seems wrong for a truck to need a transmission so early. What happened to the days of 200,000 miles on a truck. I was hoping to keep this truck for a long time as long as I do the scheduled maintenance. Looks like I may be looking at a Dodge soon. They seem to have come a long way in recent years and have great reviews. Very disappointed in GMC and this is my 3rd one. Probably my last.

  11. On December 28, 2020, I received a alert from my 2016 Chevrolet Suburban on the message board of my car that told me there was an issue with my battery or starter. I immediately called Graff Chevrolet in Grand Prairie, Texas where I purchased my vehicle new and where I’ve always taken my vehicle to be serviced. I was told to bring it in then. I immediately drove from the North Dallas’ Presbyterian Hospital area where I am a registered nurse.

Once there, I also noted to the service manager that I was hearing a “knocking” sound and requested that it be addressed as well. I left my vehicle overnight even though I count on my vehicle to get me back and forth to work to care for others.

The service manager called me to inform me of the following:

The “knocking” sound was a vacuum pump that needed replacing. This was covered by the extended warranty.
The warning message was, after assessment, the “battery negative cable corroded due to leaking battery post. Battery replaced, negative cable and positive junction block.” This, however, was not covered and my cost was total $991.26. She also suggested to have a fuel injection service to be performed, to which I agreed, keeping in compliance with maintaining my vehicle servicing. That cost was $144.29, which was part of the total.
Before picking up my car, I spoke with the Service Manager, Malcolm Simons, desiring clarification on why would a customer be responsible for a vehicle with only 68,000 miles on it and compliant with service visits, have to bear the cost for this. He explained there was nothing he could do about it. The dealership nor GM would be responsible.
I am so disappointed in this response. I am disappointed in the lack of craftsmanship of a such an expensive and highly regarded vehicle. I am disappointed that as a “GM family”, this is most likely the end of this relationship. I never questioned cost because I/we believed in the GM brand.
My husband retired from General Motors after over 32 years of faithful service. He retired as a business manager from the Arlington Truck Assembly Plant. We have always driven GM vehicles. Even if we (secretly) wanted to drive a vehicle from another car manufacturer, he would have not heard of it and we supported that! We were proud of the GM brand and “oooh and ahhh-ed” over the new products that came out every year. We were excited when he was on the K2 launch team! We have always loved and been devoted to the GM brand.

I’ll never forget how excited I was on January 20, 2017, when I received my new 2016 Chevrolet Suburban Texas Edition! Right before this incident, we were speaking with a sales representative about yet another Chevrolet- a new Camaro! However, for the first time in a long time, I am considering another car manufacturer. We are profoundly shocked at the lack of integrity and reliability in the GM brand.

In conclusion, this vehicle had two major defective areas, simultaneously. Again, my vehicle is serviced on schedule and only has 68,000 miles on it. I can only imagine what the cost would have been if both weren’t covered!

I am asking for a resolution in the form of a refund for the battery issue. Like the vacuum pump, this was obviously a manufacturer mechanical defect. I want to maintain faith in the GM brand. Please let our GM family know what you decide.

(I can provide a copy of the invoice as well. I mailed a copy of this letter with the invoice to the general GM cooperation as well.)
Thank you for your time and attention,

  12. I am having an issue with my 2014 Corvette z51 and I am in desperate need of some help. I have owned this car for about two years now and love it to death, unfortunately the car does not love me back haha. I purchased it used with 14,000 miles and spent close to $2,000 on a warranty on the vehicle. I now have 34,000 miles on it. In all seriousness I am extremely disappointed in the current situation I am in. This car has overheated on me about 5 times, and all 5 times the car was at idle under low stress. All of the times I had to pull over to the side of the road wait for the car to cool down, and then it would be fine to drive again. I have taken it to my local Chevy dealer which is Greico Chevrolet in Delray Beach Florida. This has been a terrible experience for me. Rather than try to comfort the customer and help me solve the issue the service department told me that I should have brought the car in while it was overheating. This is not possible as if I was to do so I could potentially ruin my motor and most likely not even make it to the dealership. So, my car has now been at the Chevrolet dealership for a month and they can not replicate the issue. So basically they told me I am shit out of luck and made me feel like I fabricated this issue and that nothing is wrong and this to me is not acceptable or good customer service. Conveniently thanks to the internet, I have found several forums that show this is a common issue with the first model production year c7 z51 (2014). I am at the point where I don’t know what else to do besides get rid of the car. I was hoping that the two of you may be able to help me out before taking this step. Below I attached three separate forums that show this is a COMMON issue. I am surprised there is not a class action lawsuit already regarding this problem as these cars are not cheap. Please let me know if there is anything you can do for me. It would be greatly appreciated.

  13. Where do you find a new 2021 Silverado 2500HD in Cincinnati Tri-State area? There are none. No wonder this is Ford F150 country.. I wanted to order a new Truck, the Dealer said they can take my order but would probably never be filled. He said they are only allowed two Silverado’s a month. WHAT. What the hell is going on with GM? I’m even a Family First Employee, but that doesn’t matter either. I want what I want, not what’s on the lot.

  14. I have purchased 6 brand new GM truck over the last 15 years and 2 cars. As long as GM is paying endorsement money to a racist cop hater I will start buying Fords.

  15. WE own a 2017 GMC Yukon. Recently we had to replace both right and left tail/brake light assemblies. Apparently there is a widespread problem with these lights and no recall in sight. The “replace a fuse or light bulb” days are over and GMC is raking in the $ with no regard for the consumer. Luckily my husband was able to install them himself, thus eliminating labor charges from the dealership. Others aren’t so fortunate. Hopefully with enough feedback and complaints, GMC will do the right thing and issue a recall for these defective products.

  16. Hello, I have a 2019 ZR1 corvette…the car is pulling to the right. I have brought it to my local Chevy Dealer. They replaced the caliber, and pads..then told me to come get it…
Drove home, and still the same things are happening. I understand the ZR1 are special corvettes. But after a nice size bill…I ask why would they give it to me, still wrong?
And I was told by the mechanic that he didn’t know about the ZR1? I am still waiting for the phone call AGAIN, if they found anybody that knows what they are working on?
And it is at my expense $$$ . I love this very, very expensive car.. who do I turn to, to get my car fixed, if not the manufacturer?? REALLY…WHO????

  17. Since when does ONSTAR not come on all of your vehicles??? I thought this was a standard safety feature. Did not realize it was not on our 2019 Chevy Trailboss when we bought it all with many other things that should be standard considering how expensive it is. Very disappointing considering my 2009 Pontiac G6 has Onstar and way more options than my new vehicle. No wonder why people can’t afford new vehicles and you are losing customers. I put 10 years in and had to walk away because of all the BS!!!

  18. I don’t know if this is where I leave this information, but an employee working at Antelope Valley Chevy, reeked of pot. It was quite unprofessional. Also, I over heard this employee tell another employee about having a manager’s login to change names on cars or something like that. I thought you should know what your employees are you doing. I was able to see her name tag in her name was Monica.

  19. My son was just hired at the G.M. plant in Flint MI. He was told he would get 32hrs a week. He is now getting only 8. My son has wanted to work for G.M. all his life and dreamed of getting a truck from the plant. We keep hearing rumors that’s all the hours he will receive. He is a good hard worker but he can’t survive on 8 hours a week.
