  3. My husband was payed off due to the pandemic. My whole family has apples we have 5 on our acct currently. My device stopped charging. I was forced to spend money to get a wireless charger. The device is covered under warranty (that I pay monthly for and I paid for Apple care) I called today to exchange it. Obviously no stores are open. The agent told me I have to either ship the phone to you and be with out a device for 7-10 days, or pay over $1200 (full retail on the iPhone 11pro) to have them ship it to me! They claim they are not able to just let me pay the deductible because of the liability of loosing the device?!?!?! I don’t have a credit card so basically that means I get charged over 1200 for a device that is defective and with in warranty. You a mega loved brand corporation that prides itself in service just sit on my $1200 while I can’t pay bills or feed my family for 10 days or more (Because we all know it takes 30 days to release a hold on a debit card) so the $14/mo insurance, the monthly service, the device cost of over $1200 I have already paid is all worth nothing because I can’t afford either option! Meanwhile my carriers insurance company Assurant Solutions shipped me a apple in a prelabled return box in 2 days with only a $100 charge to my card (no questions, and that phone is being shipped out today)!

    • I have the same problem, wife bought me a new in box I pad pro at Best Buy on December 13th. In aroundMarch it quit charging. Ordered 2 Apple chargers, nothing. I went to a Mac Repair he said it would cost 350 dollars if the glass breaks,n then another cost to fix it. He told me to bring it back to Best Buy. Best buy said their return policy intuit store was 14 days, they said send it to Apple, i remove the chip and housing. Sent it, they said it was it would cost 975 for the repair. I paid less than that. the Costumer service was terrible. The service agent said they would give me a trade in allowance of up to 400 dollars, heck 90 days ago i paid more than twice that amount. I said warranty, and they said oh do you have the Apple Care? No i just have a one year apple warrantee. they sent it back, I called for a update, case closed. another supervisor re opened it no help, waiting three days for a overnight resend. Still nothing. and its been months.I have never ever dealt with such a cluster duck as this experience. Heck my wife’s family worked at apple, always had just apple products. I am re thinking that.

    • Same problem here I want to return and get my refund because they send me broken phone but unfortunately they are not helping me but rather they forcing me to keep it

When i call to find out why the dipshits answering the phone have no idea why as the processing department doesnt bother with adding a note as to why they canceled the order.       Willing to revisit Apple Gift card rather than taking the loss due to Apple’s unwillingness to honor trade in. Suspect this happens more often than not.

  9. Apple has lost a customer. Month ago 6 yr old iPad died. Called for help. Assist person recommended replacing and trade in. Ordered online next day. Took 3 wks to arrive. Waited for box to send trade in. Called one wk later, told tradein not on order so can only have Apple Gift card. Only other option is to mail new one back, have downloaded all my apps, cancel order and reorder with tradein! This is customer service?!

  10. My IPhone broke. Customer service said nothing could be done and I should purchase a new one. I wanted to purchase one from the store but they said it was better to order online. Unfortunately, I followed their advice but required that my phone be signed for and that an ID be shown as a safety precaution.
    Needless to say, this wasn’t done and SOMEONE has my phone and it’s not me! I have spent over $700 on a phone that I don’t have. Fed-Ex will only speak with Apple and Apple has informed me they will “open an investigation in a few days” and then I will have an answer in “10 business days”. I have literally spent hours on the phone with customer service only to discover that Apple doesn’t know what customer service is! I was told there was no one higher than the individual I spoke with. I have been a faithful Apple customer for years. If this is how they treat faithful customers, I’d hate to see how they treat people who are previous Samsung users.
    I guess I’m stuck for the time being since they have my money. I thought Apple was supposed to be the big company that still cared or it’s customers. Apparently, they just want their money.

    • This is an update. Apple discovered that my phone was delivered to a different address. I went to the address and they gave me an EMPTY box. APPLE HAS SINCE CLOSED THE INVESTIGATION AND TOLD ME TO “DISPUTE IT WITH MY BANK”
      Fed Ex will only talk to Apple and Apple has washed their hands of the situation.

I paid for both these devices, I pay for the phone bill and internet service not them! Why do they feel the need to mix politics with my electronic devices.   12. I am so frustrated. I was forced to buy a new iMac since mine can’t seem to connect to the internet anymore. Sadly, Apple has designed their products to be unserviceable so you have to buy new. I truly resent that. I bought during a special and received “free” AirPods. I was charged for the AirPods and spoke with Tiffany, Shikia, Arnaz, Iliana, Sanjay, as well as a few other’s before I started taking names. I also have a gift card that I was told could be applied, but apparently it wasn’t and now it’s “too late to use it on this order.” I finally heard from management today (they left a message) and was told my account would be credited for the pods. (Thank you). However, the gift card was not addressed. I called back, waited 30 minutes listening to HORRIBLE hold music. (Really, Apple? It sounds as if tiny macs are being eviserated – no matter what music you choose – “classical is by far the worst b/c the opera sounds like screams during a bad roller coaster ride). Apple had always been known for customer service. No more. Now I’m left on hold for up to an hour every single time. I was also charged (without permission) $135. For apple care. I asked if this is the same number I’ve been calling – yes – then why would I pay extra for waiting on hold forever. I’m really disappointed.

  14. I purchased 2 iphone 7s through an ATnT Center
    On November 21st 2019 I phoned apple support for assistance with the issue I was experiencing with one of the iphones I had purchased:- the silver iphone 7 IMEI ***562 ***070***. It had developed an audio/microphone problem where I could make and receive phone calls yet I was unable to hear or be heard. The speaker, addcall and facetime icons during the call were grayed out and inaccessible. I phoned apple support to complain about it. My case was assigned case ID number ***95746**** and the representative performed some tests remotely on the phone; asking me to click this and that but still there was no change. At the exhaustion of all the helpful representative’s available remedies I was told the warranty had expired and that I needed to pay about $325 and mail in the phone so to have the issue resolved. Alternatively I was emailed address details of local Apple Support technicians who can maybe solve my problem. I decided to forge ahead and I sought an alternative fixing firm and the matter was resolved at a third of the price Apple Support was asking.
    On November 19th 2020 the second iphone 7, Rose gold IMEI ***5610 *** 90*** stopped its audio functions in the same way that the first one had. I call Apple support to complain about the same issue that I had complained about earlier. My complaint was assigned Case number ****44695*** and I was told to try the same remedy tricks that I was told a year ago; this time I declined because I had already tried them. My main reason for this letter is to alert the production team on this matter which has happened twice too many times for me. I am amplifying this matter because I consider the purchase of a high quality product as an investment, yet the performance is not as should be and Apple needs to own up to this defect as it cannot be coincidental. It is not only inconveniencing to have to seek alternative fixing options but also the resolution of this needs to be researched further to see if any other iphones are affected.
    My questions:-
    How is it so easy to demand about 50% of the retail value of a product just so as to get a factory issue resolved?
    What exactly does this mean to a consumer who purchased an item with belief of durability and quality functionality?
    What has a warranty got to do with the factory defects that a product shows down its lifespan and use? Do you as Apple seize to be the manufacturers and authors of a product once the so called warranty on it expires?
    It is rather ironic that the same phones purchased at the same time would exhibit the same failure and I have to pay $325 to attend to it. Apple Support should be fair in their policy and retention of customer satisfaction. Own up to the product issues that can help with design and execution of future products. It’s certainly not fair that things like warranty should be an issue even when the product does not cease to be an apple product after the warranty period expires. Your customer service advisors knowledge seems to end at the point where they have to say “I am sorry………..I cannot help you further than this, is there anything I can help you with today?” the apple support policy should think customer first, keep in mind that money has been spent on this durable gadgets with the expectation of a lasting performance.
    This issue with my iphones can be related to motor vehicle recalls. Whenever a motor vehicle portrays features that enhance incapability of full function; the manufacturer calls it in and attends to the matter at no cost to the current owner regardless of the vehicles age, miles or how many previous owners show on its record. The cost of a vehicle is incomparable to that of an iphone yet why does Apple not honor the functionality of its products even after the so called warranty has expired. By now Apple Technicians are able to tell if the malfunction on a product is as a result of damage to it or it’s a factory production issue. Honor your products, differentiate what to profit from because going by my case it looks like I have to either keep paying a warranty fee each year for me to get an affordable repair cost or I should be ready to pay 50% of the retail price of my device for such repairs without active warranty. You cannot profit from everything. There has to be some form of product loyalty from the producers end.
    Why should I be subject to paying a warranty/loyalty fee even when the matter is no fault of my own?
    I asked for an email address to where I could write an email with details pertaining to this experience with my iphone 7s. Unfortunately I was not given a customer service email address

  15. I was treated extremely poorly at Apple’s Edina Southdale store in MN. I called corporate and was told by a very nice lady, Mildred, she apologized profusely and said that I should have not been treated that way. She did tell me that I would have to write a letter because they don’t have an email address for them and she gave me a case number to reference. She stated back word for word to me what I had said to her which told me she was actually listening and did put comments in for my case #. I wrote a letter and mailed it 10/30/2020 to corporate in CA.

    I poured my heart out about my experience and told them very personal information that had happened to me as to why I couldn’t wear a face mask but I wear a face shield.

    I had an appointment for the Edina MN Southdale store to purchase a new Iphone. I came with my face shield and was told very rudely that I could not come into the store without a face mask. I gave them the letter from my psychiatrist explaining that I can’t wear a mask. All they had to say was they weren’t going to let me in and that I could do everything online. I walked away and found a chair to write very poor reviews on every site that I could. I then called back to speak to their manager. I sat on hold forever and when the manager, Jaimie C, finally answered the phone I told her of my experience and she could have cared less.

    After over a month went by I figured of course another big corporation is ignoring the little person. I actually finally did get a response on 12/30/2020. The “generic” letter was actually dated 11/18/2020 but wasn’t mailed until 12/22/2020 which tells me how important it was. WTF is with this?

    I work customer service and know what to expect. The only caring person was Mildred who gave me the case#. The executives could care less. I am sure they didn’t even see it. Whomever sent this “generic” letter out did insert my case number and it wasn’t signed it was typed Apple Customer Care though it states that “all” management with Apple sees reports from their database on a constant basis. I call BS on that one.

    I will be sending another letter and sending back their phony letter along with the envelope to show how long this took to get.

    Get it together APPLE! I am one very pissed off CUSTOMER!

  20. I bought a used apple watch in Dec 2018 from eBay. I used it then I gave it to my daughter. It was locked by mistake and we forgot the password and ID. 42 days in contact with Apple and they are refusing to unlock it saying they need prove of ownership. I sent them all old and new emails from eBay, the local store at eBay a4c, PayPal and they are asking for more. When I ask to talk to manager, they refuse and make me feel like I crossed their line. A CS agent asked me why I buy apple products from eBay or Amazon. I always thought it was legal to buy legal stuff via e-commerce. They are really humiliating me. As a teacher, I don’t deserve such treatments and such discrimination from apple.

I purchased a apple iPhone 11 on my Apple Card along with some beats wireless headphones.I also purchased a new MacPro tablet.When making my purchase,I was giving bad advice from un-educated sales team in Huntsville,Al on how too put AppleCare on all my devices just for some extra protection.I did just that, now that I had the accident in which I was told that I would get a 1 time replacement there is no such thing they reply and prorated me back $92 of my unused AppleCare payment.Then told me if I can’t go in the river and get that phone,I’m literally up shit creek.But they did offer me a discount on used device.I used my government discounts only to find out there’s no discount for any service members(Active/Veteran).I can’t spend or will not replace another Applephone nor any other products and will be a strong advocate among my Veteran/Active Duty personnel.

  22. I just upgraded from an iPhone 7plus to an iPhone 12 plus. In order to transfer everything over I have to have my Apple ID and password. ID I can remember, password I don’t, I never use it. I tried resetting it and calling
    Apple more than once to fix this, I am locked out of my account and nobody can do anything about it. I’m stuck with 2 phones that halfway work. my account has to be “verified” by apple which can take up to 13 days or longer which can knock out my upgrade on my phone and make me ineligible for trade in. Are you kidding me?? What happened to just resetting a password and being done with this mess? I’m about ready to give both phones, tablet and AirPods back and go to a different type.

  24. I want to let you know that your product – The IPad Pro saved my sons life yesterday!!! My son blacked out yesterday morning and landed on our glass table- glass shattered all over and he also hit his head on the wall when he felll. We had our IPad sitting on the glass table- so when my son fell he hit the IPad first. The IPad actually is bent and the screen is completely shattered. If the IPad had not been there my son would have gad large pieces of glass that could have gone through his chest/stomache/arm and things could have really gone bad.. He went by ambulance with cuts on his arm/ headache/trauma to the head and chest. We are out of an IPad but my son is okay now because of the IPad. Thank You

  25. I am 72 years of age as of April 30th, and I had Apple Product for the past 40 years. I have created playlists on my iPhone that automatically flow to my Apple Air, Apple Aipad, and now my Apple iPro until April 2021 and I refuse to join Apple Music!!! How can you take away the ability for creations of your Apple Music Playlist on your IPhone to link with your IPro without now paying you monthly???!!! You’ve paid Apple for both the devices and the music!!! Now you have to go to each APPLE DEVICE and create the same playlist after 40 years????? I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!!!! If anyone in corporate can hear me!!!!
